Many might say the scene looked normal. Parents and babies were happily hanging out, cuddling, feeding. In fact, this past Saturday, community members of all ages gathered in support of babies being fed, wherever, however, and whenever need be. The event was a positive gathering with quiet persistence in response to security’s misinformed comment to a mother who had been breastfeeding in the food court earlier this week (…originally spurred by a patron’s complaint.)
Selina Metcalfe of Selina Jean Photography tapped the pulse of the day with one simple question: “Did you know that all parents have the same rights to feed their child, whether they choose breast or bottle?”
